Game Update: Trapped Together Reaches New Milestones
This week marked an important moment in the journey of Trapped Together. After months of iteration, discussion, and second-guessing, our Kickstarter page is now pre-live and open for notifications.
Trapped Together began as a simple question about communication. What happens when two players are forced to rely on each other completely, while not having access to the same information? That idea slowly evolved into a co-op puzzle adventure built around trust, tension, and cooperation under pressure.
Getting the game to a point where we felt confident enough to present it publicly wasn’t easy. The trailer alone went through many versions. Pacing changes, tone adjustments, cuts we weren’t sure about, and plenty of internal debate about whether it truly captured the experience we’re trying to create. Like many indie teams, we spent a long time working quietly, unsure how it would land outside our own bubble.
That’s why seeing the trailer shared by larger platforms this week meant so much to us. Not because it suddenly changes the reality of development, but because it offered a small moment of validation. A sign that the core idea of Trapped Together might be connecting with people.
We also saw new players discover the game through creator coverage and community sharing. Every new comment, wishlist, or notification helps build momentum toward launch and reminds us why we started this project in the first place.
There’s still a lot of work ahead, but this week felt like a meaningful step forward. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone following along, supporting the project, and helping spread the word.
If you’d like to support Trapped Together, wishlisting on Steam and clicking “Notify me” on Kickstarter are two of the most impactful things you can do right now. We can’t wait to show you more as development continues.
