Polishing the Feel and Building Toward the Demo
Share
This week in Trapped Together development was all about feel.
If you’ve been following our socials, you’ve probably seen more devlog-style updates popping up. We’re focusing more on showing how the game evolves moment by moment, especially now that we’ve started working toward a demo.
The Demo Journey Begins
We’ve officially kicked off our demo journey, aiming to shape a playable slice of Trapped Together for April. This demo is meant to capture the heart of the experience: cooperation, tension, and that constant feeling that you and your partner are relying on each other to survive.
This gives us a clear goal and helps guide every decision we make from here on out.
Movement, Animations, and Game Feel
A large part of this week went into polishing movement and animations. Improving responsiveness, smoothing transitions, and making sure characters feel grounded and intentional in every action.
These changes might look small on the surface, but they drastically affect how the game feels to play. And in a co-op puzzle game where timing and communication matter, that feel is everything.
What’s Next
There’s also something new coming up. We can’t say what it is just yet. Hush hush. But it’s part of the next phase of Trapped Together’s development, and we’re very excited to share more soon.
If you want to support Trapped Together, make sure to wishlist the game on Steam and keep an eye on our socials for regular devlog updates.
More soon.
